Before a technician can take jobs on UBond, they clear defined checks. Every badge is shown with an as-of date — so you can see when that check was last confirmed.
Published checks
ID verified
Government ID (such as Aadhaar and PAN) is checked so the person on the profile matches a real identity on file.
Address verified
Current residential address is confirmed as part of onboarding. This supports accountability when someone enters a customer's home.
Background verified
Criminal-record and court-record checks are run to our published standard (for example police verification and e-Courts scans where available). Adverse findings go through a documented adjudication process — they do not auto-approve or auto-reject without review.
Skill certified
Trade credentials and a practical assessment for the categories they serve. Safety-critical work (electrical, CCTV, borewell) requires genuine trade proof.
Platform trained
Code-of-conduct and safety training on how UBond jobs run — including check-in, quotes, and customer care expectations.
